Therapy for women navigating perfectionism, burnout, relationship stress, body image struggles, and the pressure of holding it all together.

You’re kind, driven, and self-aware. You usually succeed at what you set out to do, but underneath the surface, there’s often a constant pressure to do more, be more… and just when things start to settle, the internal goalpost shifts again.

Be better. More productive. More successful. More likable. More attractive. And still find a way to hold it all together

You know on some level your expectations of yourself are often unrealistic, but you also worry about what would happen if you stopped striving so high. Regardless of how much you do, how big you love, how much you change your appearance, there’s a nagging sense that nothing you do translates to truly feeling good enough.

Because on paper your life may look “good,” it can be hard to voice or even fully acknowledge the disconnect you feel internally. You may be used to handling things on your own, so even when support is available, there can still be a sense you’re carrying things alone.

You struggle to speak up for your own needs. You tend to internalize discomfort rather than risk disappointing others or creating conflict. You worry constantly about what others are thinking. You try to do so much for everyone, and yet you are often left feeling underappreciated and resentful.

Your anxious self-doubt gets in the way of the life you want in so many ways. You struggle to feel present in your life, feel comfortable in your own skin, give yourself credit for your accomplishments, and engage in your relationships in a meaningful way.

You’ve been thinking for a while that something needs to change, but part of you feels overwhelmed by where to even begin. You might worry about what it would mean to slow down, let people down, or confront the deeper reasons you feel disconnected from yourself.

Therapy can be a space to step out of survival mode and start building a more compassionate, grounded relationship with yourself. One where you feel more confident in who you are, more present in your life, and more connected in your relationships.

You deserve to take up space, honor your needs, and feel fully alive in your own life. If you’re ready to build self-trust, self-compassion, and meaningful change, I’d love to support you.

Ask Yourself...

What would it be like:

  • To feel more anchored in who you are, so other people’s opinions don’t affect you so deeply?
  • To call in meaningful connection through releasing your own fear, self-criticism, and shame?
  • To build unwavering trust in yourself that you can handle whatever comes your way?
  • To be able to celebrate your accomplishments and embrace your unique strengths

That's what Full Bloom Therapy in Fort Lauderdale, FL is here to support.

You deserve to take up more space in your own life and begin prioritizing yourself in a way that feels more steady and sustainable.

If you’re ready to build clarity, confidence, and self-trust, I’d love to help you get there.

Danielle Carney, LMHC smiling

I'm so glad you're here!

Hi! My name is Danielle Carney (she/her), and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. I work with clients in Florida, Delaware, North Carolina, and South Carolina.

I specialize in supporting women who are navigating patterns of perfectionism, over-functioning, self-worth struggles, body image concerns, anxiety, and relationship stress. These concerns are often connected by deeper patterns that develop in early relationships and continue to shape how you relate to yourself and others.

Many of the women I work with are used to functioning at a high level externally while internally carrying a lot of pressure, self-criticism, and responsibility. Over time, this can show up as anxiety, disconnection from self, difficulty with food or body image, or repeating relationship patterns that feel familiar but painful.

In our work together, the focus is not only on reducing symptoms, but on understanding the patterns that keep you stuck, so you can feel more grounded in yourself and more able to trust your own internal experience.

A more steady, connected, and authentic way of living is possible, and I would be honored to support you in moving toward that.

Plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
